Gears of Change
"EVERY CHANGE PAVES THE WAY FOR GROWTH AND HEALING"
Treatment Approach
What are Treatment Approaches?
Treatment modalities are different ways or methods used to help people feel better or improve their mental health.

The Following are Treatment Approaches I Use:
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational interviewing helps you explore your own reasons for change, especially when you feel unsure or stuck.
Solution Focused Therapy
Solution-Focused Therapy is a type of counseling that helps you focus on what’s working and what you want to achieve, instead of just talking about problems.
Person Centered Therapy
Person-Centered Therapy is a gentle, supportive kind of therapy where you’re truly heard and accepted just as you are. The therapist walks beside you, helping you explore your thoughts and feelings so you can grow, heal, and find your own path forward.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that helps you notice unhelpful thoughts and replace them with more positive ones. It also helps you build healthy habits and ways of coping, so you can feel better and handle life’s challenges with more confidence. Certain aspects of CBT will be utilized during treatment.
Strengths Perscective
The Strengths Perspective focuses on what you do well, rather than your weaknesses. It helps you tap into your skills and past successes to create positive change and achieve your goals.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is about being fully present and aware of what's happening right now, without judging it. It helps you focus on your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, making it easier to stay calm and in control.
*Note: I use a combination of these approaches to help you achieve your mental health goals.
