However, there are a few important exceptions where I may need to share information to keep you or others safe:
-
If you talk about plans, thoughts, or have ideations to seriously harm yourself (suicide) or someone else (homicide)
-
If you provide or discuss information that may lead me to suspect the abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult

In all other situations, I will ask for your written permission before sharing any information with others (like a doctor, school, or family member).

Your privacy matters, and I’m here to create a safe space for you.

What is Mental Health Counseling?
Mental health counseling is a type of therapy where you work with a trained professional to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It provides a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about life’s challenges, whether you're feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed.
Through counseling, you'll learn coping skills, gain insight into your feelings, and develop healthier ways to manage life's ups and downs, helping you feel more in control and improve your overall well-being.
